I bought a Scout kit01 with the LU60A and all I needed is the spacer ring from malkoff and I was good to go. The bezel used by the M95 Millennium Series WeaponLight is the same bezel used by the LU60A Lamp Module for the M600 ScoutLight WeaponLight. The LU60A does NOT fit on the Millennium Series WeaponLights such as the M95. You may well need the spacer ring from Malkoff to use their drop-in in the M95. foxj66

Mill off the selector stops, LT receivers don’t have any 2. 68 degree Fire engraving, LT receivers have a radiused FIRE engraving that’s already usable 3.

Probably be too big…I have a friend who is roughly that size. Height-wise, it was fine. But it wouldn’t cinch down tight enough. Here’s what he wrote when I asked his size:

I am 6-3 and 180 lbs. As for chest size…..not sure but I’m pretty thin there too. My waist is 34 or 36 and my chest is close to that.

If I had soft armor on I could have fit the vest.

So there you have it.

Well thank you TimW for the honest reply.

I am playing around with the idea of buying a plate carrier now that I know plates are not toooo expensive. I was under the assumption that plates alone were in the $1000 range.

Currently for my gear set up I have x2 TT 5.56 Triple Mag Panel, x2 5.56/.223 Single Mag Pouch, HSGI Blowout Pouch, and a HSGI Mini Modular Radio pouch. Am I going to run into problems fitting all of that onto a plate carrier?

1/20/2012 12:04:55 PM Just a note: Wax is resistant to many cleaner types (acids, basics, soaps) other than petroleum based stuff. Rubber, is not. All sorts of low level chemical exposure can damage plastics and rubber, including the type that will go through your gut without hurting you. Get the wax Scope Ring with the guiding flange which helps direct down the pipe, instead of letting the last bit dribble down the side of the pipe and across the seal. A good quality thick undamaged Scope Ring with a flange is the way to go. Badfish25

3/30/2012 11:23:52 AM ok, I am a newbie here and I bought a colt 6920 a few months ago. I am looking at getting a 22 dedicated upper but the one I am looking at doesnt have any sights on it. So I would need to buy some iron sights or an optic. I am looking at the MAGPUL MBUS Gen 2 Flip Up Sights which are around $90, should I just upgrade to the Aimpoint Scope or something like that. Thoughts? CIE
